So, wanna sneak a peek at what's been on my plate?  What I Ate Wednesday (WIAW) is a fun, once-a-week food journaling entry.  Basically, you snap a picture of an entire day's worth of meals, snacks, beverages...whatever you're consuming.  Not only is it neat to see what everyone's been chowing down on (oh, the ideas!), but it is a useful tool for keeping track of your own meals.  Peas and Crayons hosts a weekly WIAW linky party on her blog, so be sure check it out for many more menus!  (And, thanks again for the help, P&C!)

Breakfast: Egg whites, tomato, avocado, mozzarella cheese on a whole wheat wrap
Lunch: Shape magazine's egg salad in a pita with tomato & cuke salad
Dinner: Cooking Light's Avgolemono soup with mashed sweet potatoes & Italian green beans

Snack #1: Strawberries and blackberries
Snack #2: Mexican Bean Salad
Dessert: Chocolate PB Cup Protein Pudding with chia seeds

  4. Woo hoo! Welcome to the WIAW club! Everything looks great! And you just reminded me of my craving for egg salad that I was having earlier this week. Is the Shape recipe pretty good? Always looking for new variations to try!

  6. Thanks Heather! The Shape recipe was pretty good - less yolks so it was lower cal & cholesterol. It also had curry powder, which I had never used in egg salad but yum! I think I'll add a diced pickle next time :) Here's the recipe link - enjoy!:
